What are TEREA sticks?
TEREA are tobacco sticks containing an internal metal heating element. Compatible IQOS ILUMA devices use the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM to heat this element without a heating blade.
TEREA contains tobacco and nicotine. These products are not risk-free, and nicotine is addictive. They are intended only for adults who already use tobacco or nicotine products.
Devices compatible with TEREA
TEREA sticks are compatible with the following IQOS models:

Devices that are not compatible with TEREA
Do not use TEREA with earlier blade-based IQOS devices, including IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS ORIGINALS DUO and IQOS ORIGINALS ONE.
The metal component inside a TEREA stick makes it unsuitable for these devices. Using incompatible sticks can damage the heating system.
Similar stick dimensions or packaging do not indicate compatibility. Follow the instructions supplied with your exact device model.
How TEREA differs from HEETS
TEREA and HEETS are designed for different heating systems and are not interchangeable.
• TEREA: the heating element is inside the tobacco stick. It is designed for compatible IQOS ILUMA devices.
• HEETS: the tobacco is heated by a blade inside a compatible earlier-generation IQOS device.
Do not insert HEETS into an IQOS ILUMA device or TEREA into a blade-based IQOS device.

Storage

Can TEREA be used with IQOS 3 DUO?
No. IQOS 3 DUO uses a heating blade and is not compatible with TEREA. Inserting TEREA may damage the device.
Can HEETS be used with IQOS ILUMA?
No. HEETS does not contain the internal heating element required by the IQOS ILUMA induction system.
